Mental Health During Covid-19

This research study explored the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of healthcare professionals. We surveyed 1477 UK and European based healthcare professionals working across a broad range of specialties.

Healthcare professionals are working in busy or hectic environments. The workload they take on can be overwhelming, even more so during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, and France, the results show that healthcare professionals on the front line of this pandemic feel that COVID-19 impacts their mental health. Only 21% of respondents in the UK said they don’t feel any effect on their mental health regarding the pandemic.

  2. Definitely ! As regards this Pandemic having some rather Serious effects on our mental health (*AS WELL AS The general) population ~ Which may also have lasting effects on our future generations, if SUPPORT & KNOWLEDGE Is NOT SHARED

  3. In my opinion, COVID-19 has affected mental health of physicians and in fact, almost everyone. For physicians, as they have to work long hours and in hectic conditions, they don’t find time to spend with their loved ones or if they find, most of them don’t meet their family members due to the fear of their family members contracting this fatal virus. This staying away from family and friends and working in a hectic environment altogether affects the mental health of physicians.
